Im not sure if your logic is sound here. Take Robert Mugabe, who is pretty much the founder of and ruler of modern Zimbabwe. He makes all the rules and crushes and protests against his rules, and has commited numerous acts that are seen in the outside world in a negative light, such as vote rigging and his land resdistribution policies.
Despite his record, is it all good just because he makes the rules?
