Don't worry, you're not alone. My friend (former 360 owner) lovingly describes his Xbox One as "a VCR filled with turds" because like twice a week it will just disconnect both of his controllers and won't let him reconnect them until he restarts the system. To which MS support answered with "Sounds like you have a couple of bad controllers, you should buy new ones."
Now, every console is going to have it's issues, and I'm sure it's a small portion of Xbox Ones that have said issues. But hot damn Microsoft.
