2- They said that God did not exist because there is evil in the world. I answered that , by this same logic I can say God DOES exist because there is also GOOD in the world. I also said christianity believes in the original sin and in a fallen world that is no longer abbiding by the Law of God, but that the individual link is restored in part when one believes in the Lord Jesus Christ and becomes born again. I also said that christians believe that the evil part of man would only fade away after the death and ressurrection in Jesus. 3 - They said God is evil because he hates homossexuals. I answered that all sin is bad, and homossexuality is no worst than envy, anger, lies, murder... The Lord loves and is willing to forgive everyone, specially homossexuals. I also said that being attracted to the same sex may not be a choice, but the same goes to many things we feel, like lust. The thing is to realize we are not good and we NEED a saviour to pay for our evil. They made like more than ten questions like that. |
You don't equate homosexuality with murder, I hope.
