Ok. Well its been pretty common knowledge that the Neo is going up against the scorpio. This PS4s is going to replace the current PS4 and may even be sold for as little as $299/$249. Rumoured specs for the Neo currently has it with a GPU with around 4.2TFs as opposed to the scorpio's 6TF. In truth, that significant difference is about as much of a difference that there is between the current PS4(1.8TF) and XB1(1.2TF) GPUs. And that's not even factoring in the massive memory bandwidth advantage between the PS4/XB1/XB1s. Another very important thing is price. It's bad enough that the Scorpio will come out at least 6-9 months later than the Neo, its gonna most likly be more expensive than whatever the Neo costs at the time. Goodluck to MS selling a scorpio for $499+ when at the time there could be a $350 Neo on the market. And yes, sites will keep doing comparisons. But there in lies the next bit. Look at current PS4 to XB1 comparisons. like the new deus ex one.... PS4 runs at native 1080p to XB1 native 900p. but output at 1080p. You will be hard pressed to tell a difference. Those differences are going to be much smaller when we are talking about 4k with internal scaling being god knows whatever they use. |
I see. It just seems like a bigger difference because of the flops. You're probably right the launch difference will give it a head start.
l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble? If not, I'll keep looking.
