Furthermore, where exactly did Sony show trailers of their games not mentioning platform and showing content/graphics with noticable downgrade when compared to the final product.

I assume that a company who provides financial support for another company knows what they are providing support for, especially when said product is close to launch. I do not believe that a company is pouring money into something and never has any interest in seeing what they are spending their money on.

As for the other point, I clearly remember a thread about Sony showing a PC trailer of Batman: Arkham Knight at their E3 conference without disclosing that it is a trailer of the PC version, and quite a few posters just shrugged and said that such a practice is normal.

I repeat, Sony was not involved in the development process. What you assume and believe is irrelevant.

As for the second passage, didn't you read what i wrote or did i miss the shitstorm of Batman Arkham Knight on PS4 not being on par with what was shown at whatever E3 conference?
