Making the X1S and Scorpio isnt giving signs that they want to drop the Xbox brand, that will only happen in fantasies.

what he said about dropping deadweight, and streamlining the gaming division, "Everything will be unified at some point" to me says they're slowly phasing out the xbox.

Greenberg: I think it is. ... For us, we think the future is without console generations.

I don't think The MS big cheese, and head honchos are living a fantasy. It's happening.

It's pretty evident in the way they are spending a lot less on the Xbox division. The Slim is not a sign they are sticking around, but more a way to cut costs dramatically while they are still around.

And I said months ago, I wouldn't be surprised if the Scorpio is going to be advertised just as much, if not more, as a Windows Store VR Machine than it is a new Xbox. I mean this past E3 proves how much they are shifting the focus to Windows.
