It's pretty evident in the way they are spending a lot less on the Xbox division. The Slim is not a sign they are sticking around, but more a way to cut costs dramatically while they are still around.
And I said months ago, I wouldn't be surprised if the Scorpio is going to be advertised just as much, if not more, as a Windows Store VR Machine than it is a new Xbox. I mean this past E3 proves how much they are shifting the focus to Windows.
