Currently the top 3 leagues have 3 guaranteed spots + 1 qualification spot, and the #4 league has 2 guaranteed spots + 1 qualification spot. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer... With all these gready fucks it's just a matter of time before the Champions League is no more, it will just be replaced by an European Super League.

Does anyone want a European Super League other than UEFA? I think UEFA see the money in the premier league (tv rights) and are jealous of it because their champions league doesn't make nearly as much. It's still a lot but a mid table club in the prem makes as much as the winners of the CL, right?

Eitherway, you are right, seems a little silly. Stick with the way it's works now as Arsenal will have no reason to try and win the league if they know the garenteed money of CL group stage is in the bank.
