You sound like a good parent. One thing I've found is as they age eventually "me time with video games" becomes "us time with video games" and that's actually been a happy turn of events. It started with lego type games and others I likely don't remember to recently with NMS. Its been a neat journey and quality bonding. |
I try, but it's tough. But thanks. My daughter has had her fair taste in video games at the young age of 5. The three of us have played Turtles Re-Shelled together. We've done a little LEGO Dimensions togehter, but her lack of reading skills sort of hinders the progress. She understands the basics of the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 battle system so she has leveled up my characters for me. She's dabbled with the first Super Mario Bros. And she's watched me play some, but I need to be careful with what she sees.
