I don't believe for a second that an indie developer has the capability to produce millions of physical copies. Even if thats what it says there is no way that is true in practical terms. You saying Sony paid for the advertisement and manufactoring and ain't getting anything? I don't buy it. Theres something fishy in this story. Probably related to the ownership of the IP.

Where did I say that?  Go find it.  Sony is certainly getting paid for manufacturing and distribution--and, of course, they make more money on royalties when more copies are sold.  A deal with advertising and being a timed exclusive was likely signed early on.

Hello Games owns the IP for NMS, which costs the same amount on PC.

If you want to blame Sony that badly then shouldn't you bring something even slightly concrete?

That is what the publisher does. They are doing the job of a publisher but aren't credited for it.

So, i don't know. You go find out why they did it, but i'm sure its related to the IP ownership. The fact that they aren't credited in the box just doesn't change my rationale at all.

If you think this game would be 60 if Sony wasn't involved i would laugh, sorry to say.
