I´m watching the Olympics, but somewhat I don´t feel as excited about it as I was when watching London 2012 or Beijing 2008.
Probably due to all the controversies and all the huge doubts of how my country will benefit from these Games (my bet: zero benefit, despite all the national pride fanfare on tv and on internet)
Kind of dissapointing to see Brazil finishing the first week with only one gold.... but our best chances are on team sports. We may likely end this with 5-6 gold medals, that would be our best olympics ever. I´m afraid an eventual win in men´s soccer may overshadow accomplishments in other sports and bring them back to the usual limbo.
