Well it's not really like I got rid of it but I find myself many times thinking about when a Yu-Gi-Oh! card worth 100+$ that I found was stolen from me. That really left a scar in my brain...
I don't get rid of much stuff excluding old clothes, I'm the kind of person that easily forms a connections with what belongs to him. Of course this causes my room to be extremely messy :v
