Oh there will be a pricecut coming. That they are denying it like a pervert sex habit is not really surprising, considering what it could do to their current sales if people suspected the price to drop.
Since they didn't do it before GTA and MGS4 it will most likely happen before christmas most likely with a new PS3 version including a reworked inner life. Expect Microsoft to do the same.
