The Zulu’s Impi unit in Civilization 5 was a thing to be feared. It dealt its damage twice, leveled up 25% quicker, and cost 50% less to maintain. It was an early game nightmare. But the Zulu may have to take a seat after Scythia shows up into Civilization 6, the first brand new civ revealed to be joining the series.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign back in July of 2015, Diluvion, a deep sea exploration and submarine combat game, is now due to be released this fall. Above, you can watch the announcement trailer, where after about a minute of introduction and story setup, you can see some gameplay: sub-to-sub combat, crew management, and a fight with what appears to be some sort of monstrous Dire Crab with a sunken battleship on its back.

Consider the StarCraft 2 ARG from earlier this year: Despite requiring a “huge, complex, hard-to-read explanation” of what it was all about, it took the community just two days to unlock its mysteries. So it's a little unusual that the Sombra mystery in Overwatch, reignited last week with the release of the Summer Games update, remains unsolved. In fact, as reported by PCGamesN, Blizzard was recently forced to drop a hint to help stumped sleuths get back on the path.

 

NORTHGARD IS A VIKING STRATEGY/EXPLORATION GAME FROM THE MAKERS OF EVOLAND

Evoland developer Shiro Games has revealed its new project, a strategy/exploration game based on Norse mythology called Northgard. Players must establish settlements, assign tasks to Viking warriors, manage resources, expand and discover new lands, survive enemies and the elements, and achieve multiple victory conditions against either the AI or other people.
