It is a shame, at a time when drugs was ruining the sport and most of the competitors from that era were stripped from their titles we had this one guys, who beat the odds, survived desease and still beat the cheats. The biggest issue people had with him wasn't that he cheated but that he lied. Many people believed in him and followed him as this great man and in the end it was all a lie. Even in discovery he was so arrogant, which was uncharacteristic of someone who had inspired many.
On the subject of Cycling, today is the cycling time trials, look forward to it. Tom Dumoulin and Froome being favourites me thinks but if it's anything like the road race, who knows if people fall.
