Firstly, the R-word. Making fun of people with developmental disabilities? Not cool.
Secondly, I agree that selling it without the game is potentially incredibly confusing. Why call it a special edition of the game as opposed to a collector's pack or something?
However, a collector's edition that comes with a digital code would be far preferrable for me. If I'd known I had that option, I would have considered that! Instead I pre-ordered through the dashboard, as I'm digital-only for this generation of game systems.
The one and only way this collector's edition makes sense to me is in the case of someone who purchases the game digitall, falls in love with it, and wishes they'd had the collector's edition goodies. I just hope they make that *very* clear on the packaging, lest people make the mistake of thinking they had bought the game. That would be particularly bad in the case of a gift!
