There are Wii U homebrew applications like title dumper which allow you to rip your games. That is perfectly legal in the U.S to do. |
hey cool didnt know that, but i am 100% certain 99% of people wont use it this way

As long as you own the games its legal, and rip from your own games. And you make it sound like this is going to hurt Wii U sales? Wii U is already dead. It ll still be a year or two before this emulator runs perfect, and by then nintendo sales of wii u will be so low as to be non exsistant. This in no way hurts nintendo, and helps protect the games, so that 10-15 years from now when your Wii U is dead, you ll still be able to play the games. |
Same old talk, how many times do i hear that. Why i dont see those classics franchises coming back if emulators help to popularize and preserving said games? Like for example what happened with Konamis dormant franchises, did emulating Konami games brought back their old franchsises?
It is hurting Nintendo period, and like always its the japanese stuff people want to emulate or fan translate etc.
