The analogies you've been using make no sense.  People buy a statue to display.  You can't play a statue.  This isn't the body of a car being sold without an engine.  A statue and a game are not dependent on one another to work.  In no way shape or form do you need to buy the two pieces from the same place or at the same time for them to function.

Someone wants to buy a CD key from an online retailer for $40 and then this SKU from Amazon?  It works exactly the same as if they bought them together.

It blows my mind the things people complain about.

The analogy makes perfect sense you and jim bob here just don't have any legitimate response to it, a statue may not be dependent on a game but a CE of a game is hence why it's called Battlefield 1 collector's edition, take your time the hint is in the name. This isn't buying a statue this is buying an edition of a game that comes with out the game, like I said before it's not rocket science on why it's comical if you still can't figure it out don't worry about it jog on.

Goodness, I guess someone needs to tell Amazon and EA they can't sell this because you can't understand that it's the extras that are the collector's part, not the game itself.  How dare they.  Looks like you're the one that needs to jog on, as they likely don't give a rat's ass about your internet whining.
