Let's be honest, do you think Europe and US are safe? Zika is not such a dangerous disease, unless you are pregnant. The terrorists are a lot worse, and don't say the criminality is not a problem for you, US is just as violent as Brazil, and Europe is becoming problematic too with big social problems caused by the amount of imigrants.

About the problems in the structure, all editions had problems, some were even worse, like Sochi, but the media didn't act like that.

PS.: seems like people forgot that London had lots of protests and violence during the Olympics, because everybody acts like if it is only in Brazil that these things happen.

Excuse me?  Brazil's murder (intentional homicide) rate is around 24.6, the US is around 4.0 to 4.5 (varries slightly by study).  Property crime is also much higher.  I have no quarrel with Brazil or Brazilians, but don't white wash your country or dismissively disrespect mine just to shore up your national pride.  Also, don't look at the sensationalist media and social media for impressions on what the US is like, do research :P

Take your own advice... a big portion of the homicide rate is between rival gangs and don't exactly reflect how safe or unsafe the country or city is as a hole... don't buy what your own media is telling about brazil.
