No they haven't. This game is designed to keep on growing and this is the first part of that growth. They've been working on this for a month and clearly realised they could get it ready for the launch and so advised reviewer to wait so that they truly reflected the game + update 1. Update 2 is in the works already and includes base building, owning freighters and other graphic fixes. There will be more updates to follow in the coming months and years.
Minecraft got 93/100 at launch and is still getting updates. Are you suggesting that they should have delayed the game until now?
