I agree. In politics, perception is key, and the good people of FL and MI have every right to feel shafted. It was the state Democratic Party(and Republican Party) who screwed the pooch on this, and the National Dem Party who mishandled it so badly. The Repubs did it better. They're going to seat half their delegates from those states. A penalty wthout ostricization. While I agree with penalizing states who pre-empt the process and cause chaos, this episode illustrates how retarded the process really is. If this causes the Dems to rexamine how much weight their process puts in the hands of two tiny, and arguably not truly representative states(Iowa and New Hampshire), then all the better. If not, this would be yet another example of the Dems seemingly trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
