So, I guess in answer to your question: yes, it can be done, it already has been done (and very capably). There is no touch control, but there is online multiplayer, and it's easy to play even without speaking Japanese (there is a full guide on gamefaqs). |
Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn't have a problem with the game going 2D to make it fit on a handheld and think it could be a lot of fun. |
If they did it anything like JUS I would love it. The gameplay, the online, and the game itself are handled VERY well. Nothing wrong with 2D either. Well drawn 2D sprites on a fighting game like SSB are just as good as 3D sprites IMO.
