Finally, the third (and last!) news post:

http://www.pcgamer.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-3-is-free-on-steam-for-the-weekend/
If you've been waiting for the right time to give Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 a spin, "right now" might be a good time to finally get on it: For the next three days, it's free to download and play on Steam.
NO MAN'S SKY "ROUNDUP" TRAILER IS A HIGHLIGHT REEL OF INTERGALACTIC EXPLORATION
http://www.pcgamer.com/no-mans-sky-roundup-trailer-is-a-highlight-reel-of-intergalactic-exploration/
Did you miss any of last month's four No Man's Sky trailers that examined the game's four pillars? Trade, Fight, Survive, and... okay, maybe we did miss one. No worries though, because a new “roundup” trailer released today covers it all in a high-speed flash of intergalactic action.
BLACK DESERT ONLINE PLAYERS PROTEST 'PAY-TO-WIN' CHANGES WITH IN-GAME PICKET SIGNS
http://www.pcgamer.com/black-desert-online-players-protest-pay-to-win-changes-with-in-game-picket-signs/
Following recent changes that allow players to sell premium items on the in-game marketplace, Black Desert Online players are protesting—and not just on the forums or subreddit, but all over the game's major cities too. This started in response to a forum post made earlier today by one of BDO's community managers detailing how items that could only be obtained through spending real money—like special costumes and pets—would soon be sellable to other players for in-game currency. And judging by the looks of things, players are not happy about it.
MAFIA 3 VIDEO INTRODUCES ANARCHIC IRISH SYNDICATE LEADER THOMAS BURKE
http://www.pcgamer.com/mafia-3-video-introduces-anarchic-irish-syndicate-leader-thomas-burke/
In the lead up to Mafia 3's October release, 2K is issuing six videos showcasing the various grizzled, world weary crims we'll encounter in New Bordeaux. We met Lincoln Clay last month but two have released since then, and this time there's a little bit of gameplay footage, too.
ROCKSTAR IS DEFINITELY WORKING ON SOMETHING OTHER THAN GTA ONLINE
http://www.pcgamer.com/rockstar-is-definitely-working-on-something-other-than-gta-online/
We all know Rockstar is hard at work adding absurd stunt racing (among many other features) to GTA Online, but what else is the studio up to? Rumours abound of course, but thanks to a recent financial report from parent company Take-Two, we can at least be assured that the studio is working on something else.

OVERWATCH HAS EARNED HALF A BILLION DOLLARS, BREAKING RECORDS FOR BLIZZARD
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-has-earned-half-a-billion-dollars-breaking-records-for-blizzard/
In case there were still any doubts that Overwatch is quite a big thing, let Activision's second-quarter earnings call put them to rest. Analyst Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners said on Twitter that, according to today's Activision Blizzard earnings call, Overwatch hit the 15 million user mark faster than any other game in Blizzard's history, breaking Diablo 3's record as the fastest-selling PC game in China, and surpassing League of Legends in Korean internet cafes with a 30 percent share. It also made an absolute ton of money in the process.
OVERWATCH WORLD CUP 2016 ANNOUNCED, FINALS WILL TAKE PLACE AT BLIZZCON
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-world-cup-2016-announced-finals-will-take-place-at-blizzcon/
Blizzard has announced the inaugural Overwatch World Cup, with proceedings kicking off next week and culminating with finals at Blizzcon 2016 in November.
IT'S POSSIBLE TO PLAY OVERWATCH'S LUCIOBALL AS ANY OTHER HERO, THANKS TO A BUG
http://www.pcgamer.com/its-possible-to-play-overwatchs-lucioball-as-any-other-hero-thanks-to-a-bug/
Ah, Lucioball. Overwatch's Rocket League-esque seasonal mode was designed to be the private domain of the rollerblading, wallrunning Brazilian, for obvious reasons: he's one of the few characters whose moveset makes sense in the format. But according to several videos circulating the net, it's possible to jump in there as Bastion, or D.Va, or indeed any other Overwatch hero who really shouldn't be there.
'ROLE-PLAYING SHOOTER' SLAYER SHOCK IS BASICALLY BUFFY: THE VIDEO GAME
http://www.pcgamer.com/role-playing-shooter-slayer-shock-is-basically-buffy-the-video-game/
Not to be confused with System Shock, Slayer Shock is the latest venture from Minor Key, who'll remember from Eldritch and Neon Struct. It is also Buffy the Vampire Slayer but in game form, concerning a team of Nebraskan vampire slayers operating out of a college cafe. You'll take on "missions to patrol the streets, rescue captive humans, and weaken the undead threat". To help you out, "a team of fellow vampire slayers assists you from HQ, providing new weapons, skills, and research". I've enjoyed hearing about it from creator David Pittman's Twitter feed for a while now, but here's a new trailer, shock-full of footage.
HERE'S A NEW LOOK AT MANIFOLD GARDEN'S LOVELY ARCHITECTURE
http://www.pcgamer.com/heres-a-new-look-at-manifold-gardens-lovely-architecture/
I think we have found the antithesis to a Call of Duty trailer: a slow-moving, explosion-free video showing off some lovely architecture, accompanied by a beautiful piano piece. Here's the first 'architecture teaser' for Manifold Garden, a physics-defying puzzle game I was very excited about last year.
VALVE ADDS NEW STEAM GIFTING RESTRICTIONS, TO COMBAT CHEATING
http://www.pcgamer.com/valve-adds-new-steam-gifting-restrictions-to-combat-cheating/
Yep, I'm breaking out that image of the dude with a literal valve in his head, to illustrate news that Valve has implemented tougher regulations for the process of gifting things on Steam. You'll no longer be able to save VAC and Game Ban-enabled games to your inventory for later use, and if you gift a game to someone who then gets permanently banned, you won't be able to gift the same game again.
>>Yes, because we all wanted more restrictions.
HITMAN HEADS TO BANGKOK FOR EPISODE 4
http://www.pcgamer.com/hitman-heads-to-bangkok-for-episode-4/
Agent 47 is off to Bangkok for Episode 4 of Hitman, it's been revealed. That's the Bangkok in Thailand, not the one in Alabama, and in your latest simulation sandbox you're attempting to murder the frontman of a fictional indie band, and also his family lawyer. Here's a music video for that fictional band, by the way, because it's 2016 and I guess that's what happens now.
And that's it all. Have a happy and gaming weekend.
Please excuse my bad English.
