It's friday (YAY!) and during yesterday's Quakecon Bethesda revealed a lot of news. Because of that, today there will be 3 post news: the usual two from DSOGaming and PCGamer and another one with all the stories from QK16.
And let's start with Quakecon and Bethesda:

DISHONORED 2 HAD A QUAKECON DEMO, HERE'S WHAT WAS IN IT
http://www.pcgamer.com/dishonored-2-had-a-quakecon-demo-heres-what-was-in-it/
Dishonored 2 was shown off at this week's QuakeCon, along with Doom: Unto the Evil, Prey and Quake Champions, but unlike those games, publisher Bethesda hasn't released the video footage onto the internet. It has, however, offered a detailed write-up of what was in the Dishonored 2 demo, which I guess will do in a pinch? A few GIFs of new combat moves sweeten the deal, including the above Blink-to-swift-kick combo. Nice.

Bethesda has also released a new set of screenshots for Dishonored 2. Dishonored 2 lets you take the role of either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, each with their own unique set of supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets. Dishonored 2 promises to let players define their own playstyle by blending immersive first-person action, assassination, stealth, mobility and the game’s brutal combat system. The game is planned for a November 11th release.

Bethesda announced at QuakeCon today that the game is now free to download and play through their Bethesda.net launcher. So if the game seems interesting, there's nothing except the ballache of installing another proprietary client onto your computer, to stop you from trying it out.
