Will the olympics be a disaster?

It's a terrible tragedy. It would've been best for the games and the brazillians if it had been canceled. But oh well... too late now. Fingers crossed that they can at least protect the athletes.

my thoughts exactly... what were they thinking when they gave Olympics to Rio? I mean even if we ignore political and economic problems, the extreme amount of garbage that pollutes sea water is a serious issue that cannot be fixed in the short term

I really hope that everything goes well, as the country and its people suffered economically for this, at least make it worth it...
