on the other hands it has a shit ton of major design flows...
1 it is the most likely component to fail and if you are a collector it will fail before the rest it shouldn't warrant a brand new purchase when you could just buy a new PSU for $20...
2 It is also a big heat generator, encasing it with the rest is greatly increasing the risk of failure....
3 if you move around the world like I do and have to change PSU to fit local power requirements, switching a $20 bucks PSU is more cost efficient than buying a new console... so 0-3 =-3 advantages... |
oh boy.. what an idiotic post.
1. 2. The box now draws around 80W in gaming, 40W when watching blu-rays. This makes for a very simple ps design which doesn't even get lukewarm in operation (hence the S is as quiet as the old model).
3. The back says 110-240V 50/60Hz input. Go figure whether you need a different ps.....
so 3 in 3 fails for your "arguments".
