I actually think, even tough I have bough hundreds of games since my first own console in 1991 I have only owned one game which required an additional device not included with the main console, and that was my parents their original NES, they had a game called "Duck Hunt" and I needed to use a gun.
I loved it since I would just go really close to the TV and shoot the ducks. Apart from that I really dislike having to buy additional devices to use games, I did think about buying a racing steering wheel at some points but I haven't done that yet.
