Che is a more a T-shirt icon than a cult leader. His image has been adopted for profit (most ironic) and repackaged by others for personal gains. Also, Che gained notoriety in the 50's. Kim Il-Sung in the 40's. |
Maybe it`s just T-shirt, but I see a lot of people addoring him (even if they don`t really know all the crimes he commited), and about Kim Il-Sung, I don`t know as well if he is still adored. But I get your point.
