someone mentioned the study that put mario ahead as the most recognizable character, I remember it being Mickey ahead but they were close. Ronald McDonald clown was also very high lol. I remember a youtube video cited the study and wanted to prove a point about how these characters are almost universally recognized by children, yet none of the kids could recognize extremely famous and influential people that everyone should be taught about.
