That's not the case though. And here's what he said first:

And that would lead to massive civilian casualties, not just on NK's side. If NA believed they could just blow NK up with no consequences, they would have done so already. Even though NK's missile failure rate is ridiculously high, they have enough missilies that many are bound to hit a target no doubt loaded with civilians.

the real casualties of war with eliminated North Korea would not be US soldiers it would be the civilian population of North Korea AND the Military/civilian population of South Korea.

really South Korea is the problem. They would lose millions of lives because I think it's fairly safe to say that the crazy leadership in NK would go kamikaze 'out in a blaze' with an attempted invasion into South Korea if a war started. I think its quite obvious North Korea could be destroyed fairly quickly, just bomb them from the air and don't even send any US soldiers in. But unfortunately it would just be an absolute mess in terms of the ground for BOTH Koreas

I actually honestly am fairly certain if a large scale escalation occured between North Korea and SK/USA that China would attempt to invade from the North almost immediately. There would be no chance of North Korea winning that sort of altercation and China is after any resources or land they can get their hands on at the moment (think false claims on the hundreds of miles of sea beneath them)

so the question is whether or not China would get involved quickly enough to entirely squash North Korea. If that happened I am not sure to what extent North Korea would be able to make it into South as I get the feeling that the mass majority of military personel and citizens would defect if their 'ally' from the North came in to 'liberate' them

at any rate the real loser in the whole situation of North Korea pretending to be a threat to the world are the North Korea citizens themselves. Starving and brainwashed, its just sad. I mean even if the vast majority of citizens AREN'T brainwashed, they are absolutely helpless in terms of the grip that the government maintains on the people, especially with a standing military of like a million soldiers
