Out of all the tragedies that exist, and have existed long before the Syrian war, why do we only now care about the most impactful and most immediate way to help out?
Ending the conflict there and exerting more pressure on the parties that are dragging this out would be the best solution. A lot is being done for the conflict in Syria, but most of what's done is draggin the mess out and everyone is pushing their agenda.
Helping Lebanon and Jordan, the two Arabic countries that are constantly taking refugees, by all possible means, is a better solution than moving the refugees to where they least belong, is also a better solution.
