I've seen a lot of footage about this election but still I'm clueless about what actual policies either will introduce or why? Trump just seems to spout childish sound bites with incredible promises and no detail at all. It all looks like a complete farce on the republican side. Here in the UK we have Boris Johnson as our buffoon comedy politician but have to admit he is easily beaten by Trump on that level. No idea what people see in Trump. It's a bit like the big religious figures in the US who get the audience eating out of their hand after making ridiculous sermons with no basis in reality.
Looking at US debt it is incredibly high with their debt 7% over 100% of their gdp which is often seen as the safety barrier you shouldn't exceed. With almost 60,000 of debt on the head of every citizen the US needs to seriously cut back on spending and reduce the level of imports.
