They win August. 2 month worth of pre-orders for the 2TB console, plus nearly a entire month of sales, then a nearly 3 months of pre-orders for the 1TB and 500GB. It would be beyond embarasssing if they can't pull that off. |
It would be disgusting. This month is Xbox "Take for free" edition + the pre-orders, against the normal PS4 + No Man's Sky. I don't think that they will be able to win October (even with Gears) there will count the late sales of FFXV( September 30) + PS VR + The Last Guardian + The Neo (I think that it will launch on October).
If they don't win september, even with Recore and Forza, this would means that majority of the ones who are purchasing the Slim are just upgrading.
We still have some more gaming events before the end of the year, to make our tread more enjoyable. I'm surprised that Microsoft will not have a pre-conference in Gamescom. Last year they don't went to Paris Game Week or Tokyo Game Show. I don't know if them will attend to Paris this year, but they will not attend the Tokyo Game Show.
This means that Microsoft will not surprise us with anything that could potentially raise their sales in the end of the year. They already showed their plan and it doesn't seem that they will change anything before the year's end. Meanwhile, Nintendo and Sony might have something un-announced.
