I mean, I get why they do it. Security and all that. Personally though, I prefer the alternate approach a coulple of Game Stops in my area have done: they will have an empty unwrapped case you take up there but then they swap it for a still-wrapped case wuth the game. Basically, the shelf displaye are just for choosing your game.
