Once you buy a game you're free to download it as many times as you want so really you only need enough space to hold one. Yeah it'd be far more convenient to have all your games downloaded at once, but it's more important that the console is cheap as that affects everyone and you always have the option of bigger memory cards. Also, if the NX is only Wii U level which I think is the only real option, then game sizes shouldn't be much different than they are on Wii U, and most Nintendo games are on the smaller side.
