Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 have just been released on Steam and… both of them are really awful ports. While the games are not that demanding when it comes to PC specs, their control mechanics are among the worst we’ve ever seen.

NO MAN’S SKY – NEW TRAILER FOCUSES ON SURVIVAL

Hello Games has released a new trailer for No Man’s Sky that focuses on the game’s survival part. As its description reads, many planets have extreme conditions that make survival difficult. For example, some planets will have extreme temperatures – from freezing lows to scorching highs – while others are drenched in toxic rain, heavily irradiated or completely submerged.

It's been awhile since we last talked about Shroud of the Avatar, the crowdfunded, Early-Accessed MMO that Richard “Lord British” Garriott unveiled to the world back in 2013. But work has continued, and it now stands on the cusp of a major milestone: At midnight CDT on July 27, the game servers will be taken offline for a final wipe, after which persistence—that is, the real game—will begin.

Blizzard has rolled out an update to the PC version of Overwatch that fixes a few bugs and makes tweaks to Ana and McCree. Ana's Biotic Rifle now fires 20 percent faster than it used to and has a higher-capacity magazine—ten rounds, instead of eight—while McCree's rate of fire has been increased by 15 percent and his flashbang recovery time has been cut from .5 to .35 seconds.

Nexon's Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex—First Assault Online, which for the sake of my fingers and sanity I will henceforth refer to as simply First Assault, is about to enter open beta. BLIZZCON 2016 VIRTUAL TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE

BlizzCon 2016 is set to take place November 4-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Tickets to attend in person are completely sold out, but “virtual tickets,” offering streaming access to the entire event, are now on sale.

As we learnt at E3 last month, Watch Dogs 2 has a new protagonist in Marcus Holloway. Originally from Oakland, Marcus moves to San Francisco to rub shoulders with other hackers, and finally falls in with DedSec. A self-taught programmer, Marcus is described as "passionate" and "a fighter" by the Ubisoft spokespeople in the video, and these are important qualities when you have to shoot lots of people and steal cars and hack into corporate networks.
