And how did that work out for the Wii U? You see what's great about strong 3rd party support is it fills out any droughts caused by 1st/2nd party delays or cancellations. This is why Wii U had so many months go by without a lot of good games. This only leads to lack of interest from core gamers, which leads to low sales. No console that lacks strong 3rd party support has gone on to be a huge success. Even the Wii got thrown quite a few bones, due to the amount of casuals gaming on it. Unfortunately, a lot of that was shovelware because devs/pubs knew it was mostly casuals on the system, but it was still some form of support. A lack of support, as well as the competitors putting out more appealing HW, is really what lead to the N64, Gamecube, and Wii U performing so poorly against its rivals. |
How did having the combined support of 3DS & Wii U work out for Wii U? I hope you realize how your post makes no sense in response to what I said.
