This is A LOT better specs than expected for a Nintendo handheld tbh. They usually release their handhelds with slightly less raw power than the home console 2 gens back but comes with more modern effects (GBA SP to SNES, 3ds to GC) so a handheld with 1 Teraflop (tegra X1) of computing power is really impressive since it actually approaches current gen console raw power. But this isn't all that surprising considering that mobile technology has increased so rapidly recently. 32 GB cartridges are plenty since they are not going for 3rd party multiplats with PS4/XBO. I doubt this will get the big multiplats from PS4/XB1/PC since it isnt x86, has a smaller game size and is weaker than Xbox one

I like the idea. I don't think it will sell like crazy due to shrinking handheld market, unfortunately, but it looks like it will make for a cool handheld and secondary console and it might have decent sales on this premise. The biggest problem I had with the last 3 Nintendo consoles were that they didn't get enough game releases to stand on their own. it is ridiculous when you can only justify buying a game console if you all ready have another game console (or gaming PC) so you don't get droughts. I had PS3 and Wii, but as I got older I couldn't justify buying Wii U just for a few games I want to play when I already had a PS4. Wii U and Wii felt like a paywall to access Nintendo games since the hardware offered absolutely nothing I wanted (and hampered game experiences like wiimote). the "paywall" thing goes away as NX will be undoubtedly the best way to play games on the go (mobile games are shit and I doubt Sony or MS will make a handheld in the future). The hardware has it merits now! and now I get Nintendo's console games with it as well.

So to someone like me who is a Nintendo fan but didn't like the direction of their last few home console, this is looking really good! just based on the rumor of course. I know most people on forums want a Nintendo console with a lot of power and gets all the 3rd party support like a PS4. But that has become more and more unrealistic as it increasingly obvious Nintendo would not be able to compete with Sony and MS directly in this regard after so many generations of terrible 3rd party relations/support as well as hardware and online infrastructure ineptitude. honestly if this is $200 then it is the best thing Nintendo could of done imo
