You don't see how to play an iphone on a TV?

http://www.wikihow.com/Connect-Your-iPhone-to-Your-TV

There's how.

Looks super intuitive and not expensive at all, you only need a 1000$ phone, and Aple TV, and Hdmi and a gamepad for Iphones (if there is one), then you can play all the unique masterpieces made for Ios in all its glory on your TV.

Dude, are you like a 70 year old grandma?  You plug a 10 dollar adapter into your phone, and an hdmi to the TV.  It's not open heart surgery, and probably more intuitive than the rumored NX.

An Apple TV is 100 bucks, and people are going to have the phone anyway, which is 2-300 with a contract.  And it's also a phone.

And, if you have an Android phone (which you should) then it's significantly cheaper, and you can stream wirelessly with a 20 dollar or so Chromecast.

And this is what's available now.  It's only going to get cheaper and easier.  I'm pretty sure that there are TVs that can wirelessly mirror phones out of the box.  If there are not, I'd be absolutely shocked if they don't exist within 2 years.
