WiiU - 176GF

Xbox One - 1.3TF
PS4 - 1.8TF
Stock Tegra X1 (NX) - 512GF

You can't use flops like that to compare the capabilities of machines with different architectures. But nice try.

Less powerful than Xbox one means its should be quite cheap right? If this rumour is correct anyway. I'll head slap hard if Nintendo tries to sell this for $300.

Might be as cheap as an Ouya. ;)

Where I think its a bad idea is that firstly, they are going with Nvidia.... Everyone knows that there is a Nvidia tax when you go with them hence why hardly any manufacturers goes with them. Nvidia Tegra is nothing new but the only device I know that runs it is Nvidia shield which is made by... Nvidia! I am sure there are some more but... They sure aren't popular. And that makes me wonder as to why they didn't go with a Snapdragon + Adreno Combo like everyone else does.

Tegra hasn't had as many design wins as nVidia would like... At this point nVidia will likely be very price-efficient with Tegra... So price should be a non issue if nVidia can make up for it in volume and have a decent Halo-product to showcase Tegra's prowess to tempt more OEM's.

not really.  it cost money to shrink.  if it is close to as powerful as an xbox one but in a form-factor the size of a 3DS then it would be very expensive.

No where near the power of an Xbox One, maybe half the power in a best case scenario... But likely a quarter of the performance.

These already exist for handhelds

Dont see why they wouldnt make them for this aswell

You also have Android tablets which can wirelessly stream it's display to a TV.

I have a cheap JXD s7800 tablet around here which is a ripper for emulating, NES, SNES,N64, PS1, Gameboy, DS games AND has HDMI output.

These devices have been around for years. :)
