I still think there's something importante missing here.
Just having a simple dock doesn't seem like keeping the home console business - remember that Iwata didn't want and wasn't making a hybrid console.
So, what Eurogamer potentially revealed doesn't add up.
Not only that but there's still that piece of tech worth 100 million dollars Nintendo bought a few years and that, as far as i know, hasn't been shown.
Emily Rogers also spoke of a gimmick that could be expansive, and again, what has been revealed shows none of that - and shw knew about what was going to happen, regarding these articles.
Imagine a portable with controllers you can take out and then.... form a really weird shaped controller? That or a really weirdly shaped portable! It's one of the two and i doubt Nintendo would go with any of those two options.
