Start with P3 or P4. The games are slightly connected but you don't need to play one to enjoy another. The characters and setting are different with each game but there are links. Very basically speaking, they're about high school kids who can fight monsters that others cannot see, by using something kind of like summoning. These monsters cause serious problems in the real world. While that's going on, you build links with other people at school and elsewhere that actually make you stronger. This social aspect is one of the trademarks of the Persona series. Solving problems for others and making friends with them is an important aspect of the game. P3 is a bit more archaic but still very good and it has a more intense story. P4 is more polished and gets deeper into the social life of the main character. You'll find plenty of people who like either one as their favorite. |
It sounds like a mature version of Yokai Watch 😂
Anyways, I'll probably go ahead and play the games whenever I get the opportunity to do so. I enjoy games that focus a lot on the characters(like Shin Megami Tensei)
