In a year imagine when Nintendo cut the price down to $250 and throw in some Amiibo ... yeah could see this becoming very popular with kids. 

Gotta have those Android apps though (doesn't need to run Android per se, just the apps, which Nintendo could do with a forked version of Android). 

Yeah, having access to the mobile market is cruical for this to work. Maybe they could work out a deal with Google?

And every year or two they'd come out with a new iteration.... It would print money!
