I need to know more, but I like the idea of Nintendo consolidating their game development onto one platform.
Having a tablet device that can connect to your TV and also allow you to disconnect the remotes and then potentially have 2 controllers to have local multiplayer anywhere could be interesting and there's the potential for you to be able to sit in a park, coffee shop, on a train, etc and then be freed from the weight of holding what could be a somewhat weighty tablet unit.
I'd need to know the specs, line-up at launch and in the not too distant future, cost and what Nintendo can do with it. Right now it sounds like a handheld, with better performance than Wii U, but less powerful than XB1.
Maybe we're missing something, like the system could have a separate base station with more processing tech inside.
I don't know if I buy NVidia being the SOC provider, AMD seems like a more cost effective option for Nintendo.
Hopefully these leaks could be a precursor to an event happening soon where Nintendo gives a good amount of info on what's really going on.
