What's the definition of expensive because I think $300+ when I think "Nintendo" and "expensive"? I think she means it won't be $200-250 like the Wii. Nintendrones like Youtuber Shokio were hyping up the Wii U saying it would be up to par with 7th gen (it was) because Reggie hinted it would be expensive. The Wii U is definitely expensive for what it offers even today, No 3rd Party, No Blu-Ray Player, Barebones online, No HDD, ect. If the NX has 3rd party and it's like $300-400 it still will fit my definition of expensive. Nintendo consoles are rarely sold at a loss. I've heard Nintendo fans bragging GC made more money off hardware than PS2. I can't see it being sold for under $300. |
Anything under $400 (xbox 360 and PS3 were more expensive, and so was PS4 and Xbone) is pretty cheap by todays standards.
Bringing up the Wii and saying "expensive" is based on that literally makes no sense.
