When you try to make a device that combines two world, you have to nail it or otherwise it would be a mess. Nintendo learned that with Wii U, and because the Eurogamer article is so scarce with details, I can't see how it will work.

That mock-up with the portable and the detachable controllers details what appears to be a tablet, otherwise the controllers would be tiny. That doesn't go well with portability. And at the same time, those controllers may be smaller than a wiimote, so I'm sure how comfortable they'll be while playing with the device connected to the TV.

I'll wait until Nintendo unveils the damned thing to make a final decision, but so far it doesn't appeal to me.
