DEAD RISING – FIRST SCREENSHOTS RELEASED FOR THIS UPCOMING REMASTER

Capcom has revealed the first screenshots for the upcoming remake of the first Dead Rising game. In Dead Rising, players take the role of Frank; a photojournalist who ends up trapped in a shopping mall in the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, that is infested with zombies. Although there is no release date yet, we do know that this remaster is being developed by QLOC.

 

NO MAN'S SKY PC RELEASE DATE MAY HAVE BEEN PUSHED BACK VERY SLIGHTLY

We've been saying for awhile now that the massive space exploration game No Man's Sky will be out on August 9. As it turns out, we may have been wrong. The situation isn't entirely clear at the moment, but the No Man's Sky website currently lists the release date as August 9 for the PS4 in North America, August 10 in Europe, and “on PC worldwide on August 12.”

We all know that Tim Sweeney, co-founder of Epic Games and co-creator of the Unreal Engine, is not a big fan of Microsoft’s Universal Window Platform (UWP). So the desire for more, be it through an expansion or a sequel, may not be running all that hot anyway. But on the off-chance that you were looking forward to more courses or options in the future, the news isn't good: When Console Obsession asked Three Fields Entertainment Creative Director Alex Ward if the game will “continue to evolve over time,” he answered bluntly, “No.”

Grinding Gear Games has released a new video in which Jonathan Rogers, Technical Director at Grinding Gear Games, discusses the performance improvements that are coming in version 2.4.0. Path of Exile is a free-to-play online action RPG and its upcoming 2.4.0 will offer better multi-threading CPU support (that will significantly improve the game’s performance).
