I will say that if a hybrid was the goal - I think it's too soon - I did have the thought of detachable controller portions. It makes sense: handhelds are not comfortable for really long sessions and wouls ultimately make for very poor console controllers. Detachable parts could allow for more traditional controller ergonomics for the handheld (think of it as a smaller, more comfortable Gamepad), but they could also allow for a traditional controller all together. Basically you detatch the controller from the screen/core and that goes into the dock while you connect the two controller bits to form a traditonal controller. It is a potentially cool design, I just don't think the tech is there to make it significantly strong enough to work and yes, folks, POWER DOES MATTER.
