I think I had some changes, When I was young, I loved mechanical/gameplay heavy games like Mario, Metroid and racing games like Gran Turismo above everything, the older I got the more I started to love Exploration games, like The Witcher, Dragon Age, The Legend of Zelda among others.

Recently, when I have entered my 30's I have noticed altough I still love games like Bloodborne, which has exploration and mechanical/skill based gameplay overall I seem to apricate story, the setting of a game and the overall package way more.

Also one of the biggest shifts when I grew older has been that I am not fixated about "completing" games any more or getting objectives- or achievements, its all about the fun and anything that strays away from that will just never happen. This is something I have seen with a lot of my friends that still play games too!
