https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism knock yourself out in the United states section. It was much worse in the eighties and nineties, but there have been attacks even in recent memory.

Just to clarify, this conversation was not about christian terrorsim at all. It was just one of many examples of terrorists within the countries predominant religion. There was no comparison going on.

You seem to think I was trying to compare christian terrorism to Islamic  terrorism, wich is not the case. My only point was that christian terrorism exists in predominantly christian countries, and it does.

I misunderstood you then. Reading it, I thought you were going for a comparison by using "a host of" to describe the amount.

That said, the lack of content in that article is about what I expected. From 1996-20015, there wasn't a single attack from an identified "Christian terrorist" in the United States. Domestic terror is just as scary as a foreign group launching or leading an attack in another area.

English is not my fist language, so I might have used the wrong expression. And yeah, I was thinking more of the heyday in the 80s and early 90s when I made that comment in the first place.

Like I said, it was just meant to showcase that it exists at all.

Yeah it is. Germany had to deal with extremist left wing domestic terror throughout the 70s and 80s and it was fucking scary from what I'm told.
