I think the refugees are mostly genuinely fleeing from possible death in what is a completely de-stabilised region of the world but they are generally not a tolerant people. Christians and atheists are the infidel and they do not accept equal rights for women or homosexuals. Many are offended by our practices and not being muslim. That is just the way it is. So they seek safety but are also offended and not genuinely grateful. What annoys me most is the politically correct of Europe criticize those people in Europe who don't want to take refugees but the very people they are giving refugee status too are extremely politically non-correct.
I believe in equal rights for women and I believe in animal welfare. I'm an atheist. As you can imagine I'm none too keen on the views of islam with ritual slaughter for animals, horrific treatment of women and know that people who lack religion like myself are often persecuted and killed in islamic countries. 40% of the islamic population of the UK want sharia law!
I'm very happy to live in a multi-cultural country and have no problems with people of different ethnicity but its difficult to tolerate people who have little tolerance themselves due to their belief in a very dark religion which expresses many dark viewpoints.
We are seeing at the moment that one of the largest sectarian democracies with a majority muslim population is moving towards a dictatorship in Turkey. There is a lot of anarchy in islam.
